HEZA WILD ONE
RED FEATHER
WHITE FEATHER
KDJ 1526 Heza Wild One
Our objective is to produce lambs with quality, muscular carcasses. We chose our herd sire for his muscling and his genetics that have proven to pass on these traits.
Be sure to scroll down and check out his pedigree. If you missed the "Foundation Pedigrees" information on the home page, here it is again...
We purchased some of our foundation breeding stock from Kenneth Jessee, Jessee Farm (KDJ) in Virginia. Our herd sire, Heza Wild One, provides quality blood lines. He's a son of Wild Man bred by John Stromquist (SWP) of White Post Farm in Illinois. Wild Man goes back to lines bred by Vaughn Johnson (VJ) of Pinto Ranch in Montana. Heza Wild One's dam is a daughter of The Old Man bred by Jenny Smith Briggs (SBR) of Texas and was owned by Kenneth Jessee.
We also purchased breeding stock from Brandon Tavalin of Tavalin Tails Farm (ABT) in Tennessee that carry blood lines from Mark Dennis's Country Oaks Ranch (COR) in New Iberia, LA.
At Bramblett Katahdins (BKY) we are grateful for these bloodlines and look forward to passing them on in our Katahdin herd.
